Chef Oyindamola Alimi
Chef Oyindamola Alimi came from Nigeria to Uruguay one year and ten months ago, her curiosity for gastronomy began by observing his mother who worked as caterer, over time this curiosity became a passion for cooking, the joy and gratification that the act of cooking brings and how happy people was after tasting her food, the chef believes that everyone should know Nigerian cuisine as it is extremely varied and creative.
The chef Oyindamola Alimi has plans to open a restaurant serving authentic Nigerian food here in Montevideo, currently her offers catering services and sells her dishes at events throughout the city.

The Nigerian Cuisine
The Nigerian cuisine is the basis of many Afro-diasporic cuisines, this can be seen in the ingredients, the way of cooking and in names of the dishes and it is a source of pride for all Nigerian people, is a zero waste gastronomy that uses all parts of the food in a respectful and ecological way.
A cuisine closely linked to the spirituality of the African people that brings at its base ancestry and respect in all forms,a person born in Latin America and the Caribbean will very easily find familiar flavors that remind us of that grandmother's food that we all have in our memories and heart.
